Alright, well, we're going to get you well accustomed to I-80 in Pennsylvania again. There's not much in the way of Division III schools along the way and this is an overnight drive, anyway. You start on the water in New York City with Massachusetts Maritime at SUNY-Maritime on a Friday night. From there, all you have to do is drive six hours due west after a 10 p.m. finish to get to New Wilmington, Pa., by noon on Saturday for Waynesburg at Westminster (Pa.). Totally doable. Bring a second driver, though. And you'll get an early-season up-close look at whether Westminster is going to repeat its 2015 surge. Now, if you need a nap, catch it between games, because you're only 28 miles from the nightcap, Bethany at Geneva. Even when they're struggling, it appears Geneva still draws well, and this is a game where the teams should come in on a fairly level playing field.
Now, if that's not enough driving for you, you could continue on into Ohio for the nightcap and see Allegheny at Wooster. St. Vincent at Thiel is also an option for another nightcap in the same area of the country. But Bethany and Geneva should be closer to the middle of the pack in their conferences than the other two possible third games. And now we run out of Thursday night games for almost the rest of the season, unfortunately.
Total: Three games, 413 miles start to finish.
