There is a Friday night game in Division III but it's a school we've already been to this season and it doesn't set us up for anything super interesting. Instead, what we'll do is take advantage of a free weekend to see the entirety of a conference. Or what's left of a conference, at least. The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference is down to four football programs, and without hope for gaining more, the conference's members are splitting and joining the SAA and the ASC after this season. But for one magical weekend, you can see all four remaining teams, starting in the afternoon with Austin College at Southwestern and finishing with Trinity (Texas) at Texas Lutheran.
If you're into starting with a Friday night game, you're back at Bridgewater State. But then you're doing a ton of driving to find a Saturday doubleheader. Instead, come see us in Texas.
Total: Two games, 93 miles start to finish.
